BMS Technical Review — architecture review and improvement roadmap

Australian National University

Closes Friday 6 November 2026, 2:00pm Melbourne time (AEDT)

The Australian National University is seeking a Building Management System (BMS) consultant for an independent architecture review and improvement roadmap. The engagement covers architecture strength and resilience, integration paths (including BACnet, Modbus, Haystack and APIs), technology options, efficiency, BMS field-level cybersecurity, and alarm architecture. The consultant runs stakeholder workshops, reviews the BMS section of the Campus Building Requirements Manual, and delivers staged reports plus a prioritised future-state roadmap with high-level cost and complexity.

This is an independent technical review of the existing BMS architecture, not day-to-day BMS operations. Evidence of similar BMS architecture reviews is required, with a preference for large, complex organisations; Group of Eight university experience is highly regarded. Responses lodge via ANU TenderLink. No contract value is stated on the public summary used for this notice.
