Gunbower Forest Vegetation Condition Monitoring 2026-27

North Central CMA wants a consultant for the autumn 2027 vegetation condition monitoring in Gunbower Forest under The Living Murray (TLM) method (reference PRJ-2026-2565). The work covers 14 wetland sites, 110 understorey sites and 15 tree sites (450 trees), setting up 15 new VMFRP tree sites at Gunbower, Guttrum and Benwell, field calibration with a CMA-funded observer, a Traditional Owner knowledge-sharing component and a report in July 2027. The budget cap is $147,000 ex GST. Questions close Wednesday 28 October 2026.
An ecological consultancy with Murray floodplain vegetation monitoring experience, able to field a botany team across about 140 sites and 450 trees in autumn 2027.
